Matthew earned his undergraduate degree from Howard University and went on to complete his MBA at George Washington University. Before transitioning to real estate, he built a successful career in sales management with three Fortune 500 companies — BMC Software, IBM, and Xerox — experience that continues to inform his sharp negotiating skills and client-first approach today.

For the past 21 years, Matthew has helped clients navigate the D.C. real estate market, first with Long & Foster Real Estate and now with Compass, specializing in residential and mixed-use properties. What truly drives his passion is empowering clients to build wealth through smart property investment. He takes genuine joy in guiding buyers and sellers through the intricacies of the market and celebrating with them as their financial goals become reality.

He has been happily married to Jimmie for 35 years, and together they cherish time with their two children, Matt (28) and Carly (22).
